Cooling Towers: cladding, supporting structure, cooling tower internals, shaft distribution system, piping, and nozzles
Cooling towers are crucial for ensuring the successful cooling of the production block. Their condition directly affects the performance of the production block. Our services include the collection of photogrammetric, visual, thermographic, and laser data followed by processing. Using in-house developed artificial intelligence, we can quickly categorize the collected data and provide feedback to the manager with an assessment of the technology’s condition. With 3D scanning methods, it is possible to analyze shape anomalies and monitor deformation trends over the years.
Pipe Hangers
Pipe hangers are often overlooked technology, but a simple visual inspection can reveal malfunctions. Poorly moving pipe hangers can affect other equipment along the pipeline, including rotating machinery, whose lifespan and operability can be negatively impacted.
Condenser and Condenser Superstructure
The space between the steam turbine and the condenser is difficult to access. However, the integrity of the structure is crucial for the reliable operation of the equipment. Aerial platforms allow for indirect visual inspection or wall thickness measurement of these technologies.
Inlet Channels
It is no longer necessary to inspect inlet channels from cooling towers using human labor. The reinforced concrete structure and steel elements in these technologies pose constant safety risks for inspection teams. With aerial platforms, this can be done entirely remotely.
Boilers and Accessories
For planning and decision-making regarding repairs, we commonly collect visual data. For pulverized coal boilers, customers appreciate being informed about the condition of burners, injection lances, blowers, superheaters, the evaporator itself, or the condition of the refractory lining of dryers. An integral part of the production block are vertical flues or desulfurization technology, where the movement of a human inspector is risky.
